Congratulations to Lisa Bonang for being selected as the winner of the 2020 Critical Care Education Bursary Award
Lisa is a 4th year
nursing student who entered the program as a mature student having already
completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from UBC. As she pivoted and
embraced her new career path, along the way she found a passion for cardiac
care and critical care nursing.
Lisa is not only a strong student
both academically and in practice, but she also demonstrates leadership among
her peers by always completing assignments on time, attending every class and
clinical, and being accountable for her professional and personal life. As a result,
she was awarded the Ken Lepin Nursing Excellence award upon graduation.
A big congratulations goes out to Lisa
for winning this years' TRU Critical Care Education Bursary award. Her hard
work and achievements thus far, shows how committed and dedicated she is as an
individual. And this is a well-deserved recognition.
